What: A four day bike ride from lighthouse to lighthouse, "Tip to Tip for Africa 2007" will follow the Confederation Trail on Prince Edward Island. All meals and accommodation for the four days and three nights are included as well as great Island entertainment at dinner each evening and for our special Acadian lunch.
Why: To raise funds for the Townships Project which makes small loans to the poorest of the poor in the black townships outside the city of East London in South Africa to enable them to become self sufficient. It cost about $50.00 a person to achieve this goal.
When: Starting Friday May 18th at North Cape and ending Monday May 21st at East Point.
Where: Buses will leave Charlottetown at 9.00am to take riders to North Cape where the ride will start. It will finish at East Point at about 3pm on Monday and riders will be bussed back to Charlottetown by about 5.00pm
Who: Anyone and everyone over 18 (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian)
Cost: $150 non refundable, non tax receiptable registration fee (Covers your accommodation, meals and travel costs), plus $600.00 in tax receiptable donations to the Townships Project.

Meaning - If you are a Newbie
At the top is Cyn in Triumph.Here I am at the finish last year (2006) I had never really biked before and had done my best to get fit and had had a lot of help with choosing kit etc.
